Totally agree with Haywood. What a bunch of bull. Always thought him to be self-centered, egotistical always me me me, but thought it was just how the media portrayed him. But now here's the proof.

First of all, if he really wanted to atone for his "sins", thereby relieving himself of this guilt he's been carrying all these years, he knew he would hurt a lot of people by this tell-all book, which is selfish of him.

"envy Sampras for his dullness and lack of inspiration", complimenting someone yet really insulting them, just because they're not emotional like him, lmao.. lack of inspiration a 14th slam champion. Come on now, we're not stupid.

Yup, he doesn't need money or sell books, he wants to go down in history for something other than a tennis player who is second to someone.. because now, he is nominated for pulitzer!! omg, what is the world coming to?

If you need to learn self-reflection and accepting yourself, you don't have to tell the whole world and hurt other people along the process.

What crap. If anyone thinks this is some selfless move towards creating transparency in his life, then you're seriously deluded.

First of all, there was no penalty for knowingly breaking the NDA. That shows the publisher's intent for a slow leak. PR 101.

Secondly, this was not a crisis communications scenario. Agassi didn't have to reveal anything as damaging as this. As another example, just wait until the release and we hear all the eye-poking he does towards Brooke Shields.

In this manner, he's done irreparable harm to the tennis community, the ATP, and his own legacy, in order to sell books and raise his Amazon ranking.

Pathetic.
